Stuff They Made Me Watch At Publix: Exploding Clowns

My first job was at the grocery store chain called Publix and this was one of the training videos I had to watch. I guess it's called "Was That Trip Necessary?"

Basically this video tells you not to let clowns or hobos in your store because if you do and they fall down, they'll explode.

Good, then they have updated the videos, I know this 1 and the older customer 1 were used into the late 90's at least.. I saw them quite a few times on break when somebody else was being trained..

I'm not sure when you got hired..(1920?) but I work at Publix, and they definitely did not make us watch this video. They made us watch a lot of dumb stuff, but not this.

yeah, they pretty much own Florida. Even Walmart can't shake 'em up. They practically build Publix stores right on top of one another to try to squeeze out competition.
