Cale Gundy and the Sooners would jump on the Huskers early in this early 90's battle of the Big Reds, playing in a rainstorm. Gundy along with Mike Gaddis would power the Sooners to a 1st half 14-3 lead. In the 2nd half though, the black shirts would shut the OU offense out while scoring 16 straight points to eventually win 19-14. Gundy would try to rally the Sooners late driving OU into Nebraska territory, but the Huskers would stop OU at the 44 and go on to play in the Orange Bowl against the Miami Hurricanes. This is a great game to watch for any fan of the OU-NU rivalry.
