  • I totally understand what your saying about a dog being chained up all the time, but come on guys lets be real. You can't teach a dog traffic control and how to look both ways before it crosses the street. In some cases to leash them is to love them.

  • @greatdane43 This is not about walking on a leash with your Dog this is about forcing them to live their lives chained.

  • my dogs run all day long & get chained at night. I would rather have her safe then ripped apart by the critters around here!! By the way, I have 7 dogs...all rescue!!

  • @Sylvia441 @Sylvia441

That is ONE of the most absurd things I've heard in a very long time Sylvia. What the hell is a chain doing to protect a Dog from being ripped apart by wildlife?? I hope everyone out the who rescues for real is aware of the fact that you chain your dogs up at night and leave them defensless against predatory animals. I'd like to see you outrun a cougar or a coyote at the end of a chain, now that would be a sight to behold!!

  • "Animal abusers are 5X more likely to commit violent crimes against people & 4X more likely to commit property crimes than individuals w/o a history of animal abuse. The FBI analysis of serial killers suggests that most had killed or tortured animals as kids. Other research showed patterns of animal cruelty among more common forms of violence, incl. child abuse, spouse abuse, & elder abuse. American Psychiatric Assoc considers animal cruelty one of the diagnostic criteria of conduct disorder.

  • The new Animal Care and Control phone number is 765-668-4491 or 92. Please report this dog to them, if there's no action taken, e-mail me.

    Thanks !!

  • Man,the people who keep their dogs chained outside 24/7 shouldn't even be allowed to have pets.

  • Would you like to live that way? If you can't control your dog by how you have trained him or her then you aren't a confident dog owner and you don't need a dog. It is a fact that chaining your dog makes even docile breeds agressive. If your worried about your dog biting someone get off your butt walk it and consult a professional trainer..many dogs can escape off a chain but, they can never get out of the walls of your home, it's safer to the dog.

  • holy crap yer vid is old

  • your a dumb fuck for saying that to me

  • i can fix the problem with a shot gun

  • ok, so im gona let that stupid fuck run free?

  • @Sylvia441 Are they safe from tangling, hanging etc while on those chains?? I've seen many a so-called safe owner chain there dog/s too close to fences, each other etc and the dogs have ended up hanging and choking.

  • A dog is good enough to spend his/her entire life as a seeing eye dog, hunt for missing people, risk their lives going into diaster sites looking for survivors, risking their own life as a police dog, but not good enough to be inside with their owner? Some people need to stop and think about all the things our 4 legged friends/companions do to please its master, and they do it for just some love and to be taken care of.

  • my dog is never chained but sometimes he doesnt listen but i think he has a great life and im trianing him right now

  • @chainsoff my dogs used to be chained bu obly 8 hours a day now we got them a huge pin to run in and i had no choice then to chain them i was only 10 and they reason there outside is because my mom and dad have really bad allergies but when they turn 8 in humane years we start to bring them in but they have to stay in my room and i have 3 dogs and there all rescues,,,,and i used to live in the country and had a 8 dogs at the time and 3 of them were attacked by coyotes off chains all day/night

  • I raised my eyebrow a little at the title, because I thought this vid would be about any kind of chaining of a dog. But now I see you mean chaining a dog outside permanently. My family dog was chained outside twice a day, but the rest of the time he was indoors with us. I admit, I don't understand ppl who chain their dogs permanently. What's the point of owning a dog if you can't cuddle him and give him lovings? Dogs are sociable animals. They need contact.

  • It shouldn't happen to "man's best friend," but it does. Take a drive down many country roads and city streets, and you'll see them—dogs left to spend their entire lives in "solitary confinement," trapped at the end of a chain or in a small pen.
