The Nintendo Gamecube classic has never looked quite this good. See how nice this game can look with a little enhancement.

Captured with fraps from Dolphin x64 r4525 running at 1920 x 1080 resolution with widescreen hack enabled to expand the viewable frame.

Hardware used:
ASUS N61JQ-X1 Laptop
1.6 GHz Intel Core i7 processor
4GB RAM
ATI Radeon HD 5730 graphics card (1GB VRAM)

  • The framerate varies depending on the settings used and how much action is going on, but it can run smoothly at 1080p with its actual framerate of 30fps with a little tweaking of the settings. There are a few hickups depending on the version of dolphin you run. Earlier versions have solid sound emulation, but visuals run better in later versions. I haven't tried any Wii software, yet.

It runs faster than fraps can capture it. Creating a video in realtime drops the framerate quite a bit.

  • @xXxLumesUpInFumesxXx ikr i still have my gamecube but i lost the game when i had it as a little kid. i havent beat it yet still i have to get the damn triforce charts

  • This makes me yearn for the old days when I still had my gamecube :c

  • thank you!

  • @LethalpengeCpCheats ...that's not how it works. You don't just add up the clock speeds and be like "HEY I GOT A 14.8 GHZ PROCESSOR!"

You can't run one thing at incredibly fast speeds, but you can run 4 things fairly well.

  • 1.6 GHz Intel Core i7 processor running dolphin fast WHAT THE F**** 1.6 GHZ IS WAY TOO LOW TOO PLAY DOLPHIN THAT FAST!!!! you may say. Well don't be fooled the brand new intel core i7 is NOT dual core but still has two cores. it has two prossesers that run at 1.6 ghz, add them together and you get a 3.6 ghz laptop! but techniclly its actually 2.8 ghz but hey, its still more than capable of running dolphin!

  • man can u post a video of brawl i wanna know how good runs on this laptop on 1080p, thax man
