  • This Bhavgeet is written By Raja Badhe. I am his nephew Ranjeet Badhe and would like to say few words. His other famous songs like Kona kasha kalavi, Dey mala ge chandrikeychee, Mohuna tuza sange nayan khelay jugaar, Mazee ya mahera jaa, Kalidaar Kapoor paan, Garja Maharashtra maza is even sung by today’s generation.

Hope that on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Maharashtra state this state government will honor Raja Badhe posthumously for his contribution .

  • @ranjeetbadhe Raja Badhe was a great song writer, but this song is credited to Mr.suresh Bhat. Why do you think your uncle wrote this song?

  • thank you sir . this bhajan sounds beautiful although this is new for me but i have been a great admirer of pt. hridayanath mangeshkar ji since i heard his compositions of meera bhajans by lataji . the visuals you have added are very beautiful too.

    thanks once again

  • @crazyoldsongs Thank you for your comment, but this definitely is not a bhajan. It is about a woman reminiscing about her tryst with her lover night before. Reference to Krishna (and Radha) could be real or merely symbolic.

  • sorry sir ,as i don't understand marathi i felt it was a bhajan . thanks for the correction .

  • You don't have to apologize, My mother tongue is Marathi, but I don't understand many songs.

  • Such taankari, so many twists and turns. Hridaynath gave all his most complicated compositions to Asha, and she never once failed him. This is yet another masterpiece and a great example of Asha's versatility in any genre.
