You all react with "çok hoş olmuş" or the like... But - the city does look grey, dusty, chaotic and almost the same, everywhere.

There's no greenery and old architecture.

Do you really like it or is it just because you are turks?

@Hollandia777 Don't forget that this video was shot in winter when all trees were bare. Besides Ankara has steppe climate, that means it is like a desert.

dear friend hollandia777 u obviously dont know anythng about ankara :( there are soo many old historic places and museums there is greenery and old architectures :Dankara is lovely city.on this video u can see nothin about ankara its only a little bit..!!the reason people write `cok guzel olmus` coz they know ankara ..it looks grey coz its winter time !!! if u have any chance to travel to ankara then u ll understand why people say that!!:D

Ankara is always gray and depressing. Also they seriously need to get some lane markings on the roads. Looks dangerous.

There are though 3 things there I'd improve immediately: chaotically hangin' cabels, dust and commercial boards everywhere. xDD P.S. Don't forget - Vienna is the city with the world's highest quality of life!

@ardaeksi Well, honestly I do like turkish cities very much (mostly 4 they are pretty complex: they always combine many contradicting elements - old & new, rich & poor, "green" &"grey", etc). The strangers are charmed by Ankara due to its solid age, richness of anatolian culture, superb cuisine and modern things.

@Hollandia777 you havent seen the whole city in this video..it cannot be told what we love in Ankara..be sure here in Ankara some Americans who work at Unis live also. Their memories in Ankara dont let them go even if they leave they want to visit Ankara again..so it is not really about race..I lstudy in Vienna right now there is much more similar buildings and surroundings in Vienna than Ankara has..

it is really good work, the point is ankara doesn't has alot of old historical buildings. it's like formal capital.

if you showed the lakes and grey areas (goksu, mogan, kurt bogazi, harikalar diyari..etc.) around ankara, it would be better i think.

i liked that trip style :))
