it didnt suck the oxygen out.. more like the opposite, the expanding gasses from the burning matchhead created overpressure which popped the cap of.. matches consist of oxidizer and fuel, they dont need oxygen from the air to burn

no its because when the heat from the matches went off the heat expanded and had no wear to go exept to the weakest point in the bottle wich was the cap

matchis contain KCLO3 witch give them oxegen u can burn them in well argon for all it matters once there litt they wont burn long tho cuz the acsual stick needs oxigen but the red tip has its own
