Great video Beth, I remember I had an equal enthusiasm for using Ning in the classroom. Once I got all my students using it, they then started charging for each user, if you failed to pay your page was deleted.
People often choose Moodle not because it has the simplicity of Facebook, (which Schoology seems have a number of similar features) but because it is open source and we are not going to wake up one day and find a request to pay email our your inbox.
