@thambidge ah I don't quite understand your comment, of course I know where Tarantino drew his influence for kill bill from, why else would I bring up the manga and Toshiya Fujita's films? Tarantino may have drew influence from Toshiya Fujita but it does not equate that the films are alike. The execution of plot and development of characters does that. And sadly I have to say the Bride of Tarantino pales to Fujita-sama's Shurayuki-hime. Just my opinion though.

@DanteAtropos Where do you think Tarantino drew his influence for the kill bill series from? It's not a coincidence that the woman out in the snow (from the last scene of the first film) even looks like the woman in this film

@Guyverman01 avatar wasnt even close to pocahaontas as it was to that atlantis movie
-
All Kill Bill was was a regurgitated version of this. As much as Avatar was of Pocahantas.

@DanteAtropos That's because you're obviously more of fan a Lady Snowblood than Tarantino. I personally believe Tarantino's a genius and love that he educates the ignorant general population on classics like this by paying homage to them in his films.

very beautiful lady.

I really wonder how many people actually read the manga before watching Toshiya Fujita's movies then watched the two kill bill volumes. If you did you wouldn't compare Lady Snowblood with Tarantino's Kill Bill, the variation of story is just to great. Not that one is better than the other... they are just two different styles although if given a choice between the two I would chose Toshiya Fujita any day the plot just seems more real than Kill Bill.
