Wheeliejuice, to answer your question, yes sometimes it does the twitching thing.
Do you have a 2.4 radio transmitter & receiver?

Well Mike sir, can you describe the quality of the foam compaired to the phase 3 Phoenix II?

We found that some of them had loose propeller hubs on the brushed/RTF version. A dot of Glue on the adapter to keep it from spinning on the motor shaft and solves the power issue. We apologize for the problem and addressed it as quickly as possible with an addendum in the manual. If you need further help, contact service. The email is in in the manual.

@Valkyry5
I'm not 100% sure but it was the Ready to Fly version (the one that came with transmitter/receiver, battery, motor, esc, etc). I will have to look in the manual to see if/what it specifies. When I plug everything in and test it on the ground at half speed the motor seems to spin as it should. However when I get everything going and hand launch the plane just doesn't have any lift so it just ends up nosing into the ground.

@Gthicel, Which motor do you have? The brushed or the brushless?
Valkyry5 6 months ago
sadly the engine just doesn't hold up. the propeller cap doesn't stay on the stem of the engine, I had to tape it to keep the propeller from flying off. the nose cone was smashed after two crashes. I really was hoping to actually fly this plane.

Mike, is the foam on the -soft- side? How would you compare the foam of the Phase 3 Phoenix II, with this plane's foam?
