Soldering Silver wire on to copper so that the solder will not show on finished piece. I always use hard Silver solder and always spray on the flux. Anyone that paints on the flux does not know what flux is for. For more information or to ask questions email me at dnorris@frii.com or call me at 303-517-1068.

Hi, yes it will work fine when sprayed and is bascially the same flux.
However, I can tell you that Wild Beads in Arlington, TX will ship it to you. Their phone number is on their web site wildbeads. biz . Or you can call Euro-Tool and ask them.

finding the eurotools flux is proving to be difficult... I make my own prips style flux and its performs quite well when sprayed, so thank you for that tip

Yes there are several big differences between what is not being sold as "Batterns". This flux could be called the same, but it is considered a brand name now. There are several reasons why I choose to use and recommend it to my students. I try them all every two years, and pick one that is the "BEST".
This flux sprays better, and I always say that anyone that paints on flux does not know what flux is for.
It eliminates fire coat.
It gives you a great temperature gage.
And more!

Yes, there is a difference, but may not be a big difference. Every two years or so, I buy and test all the fluxes I can find on the market. Aquaflux won the last two times, hands down. Battern's was a good flux until the small company that was making it was purchased by a big company and they started making a cheapper version, or a least changed it for some dumb reason. I have had many students try it and other fluxes from Rio Grande and each one called me and told me never to recommend them.

thank you, I'll check into that with my Euro-tool dealer.
It looks very similar to Battens flux - is there a big difference?

@lazemaple It is distributed by Euro-tool. You could email them and see if they have a dealer close to you. Or, you can call Wild Beads in Arlington, TX.
