Great fun! I always loved how he could do accents so well.

Alongside Gilbert Gottfried, this has to be the funniest telling of the aristocrats joke.

I had the pleasure of working on stage with Larry one time, about 1978 at The Union Plaza Hotel in Las Vegas. We worked without a script for a fund raiser show. He was incredibly funny just ad libbing.

its the groovy guru---All you sound trippers and hippies
gather round the youtube, Tune a piano up high you dig,
we are through cogitating, meditating and contemplating
we have given up infiltrating,we're gonna start devastating and eliminating
So take your cue from the groovy guru--larry storch

Larry Storch is AWESOME. Ive got him as a friend on Myspace.

I always loved his English accent parodies. His records were very funny too. I loved his Prince Phillip immitation on the "I'm Walkin'" spoof on Roulette from 1957.

I don't think you understand this joke which is from the movie THE ARISTOCRATS which is about the history of this joke and how all stand-up comics tell it to each other ever though its really old. Its a classic about a VAUDEVILLE performer explaining his VAUDEVILLE act to a vaudeville agent. Its suppose to be set during the time of VAUDEVILLE, no matter who tells the joke. So SANTDENIS11 go sit in the corner and put on a dunce cap (another VAUDEVILLE reference).

actually you missed the point. he is an impressionist and was actually doing a movie line. if the movie is set during the time of the Belgian Congo it would be called the Belgian Congo regardless the age of the person speaking.
his is my favorite besides bob saget

Yeah, I think I enjoy Larry Storch more these days than in his classic TV days. He is funny as all hell and doesn't seem to care what people might think. Great attitude.
