It's 10 years in December since Stu's death. The music lives on and brings back great memories of the 80s. Never forgotten x

@tomeeeee1 ...I believe that there is nothing glamorous about war. It is a "necessary evil" but it is evil and counter to the true nature of man...which is to teach, worship and leave progeny to take care of our planet for the future generations. I love your race as well...as i love ALL races. I just wish there were fewer RACISTS and more RACES.
One Love...

Top, top band. Saw them six times and wished it was more. Steeltown is an epic album with moments of beauty and tenderness yet filled with anger and regret about Thatcher (Steeltown) and Reagan's (Flame of the West) divisive visions of society, both in the UK and the world at large. An album celebrating real peoples' real lives, and protesting against politicians' false and destuctive dogma.

Top drawer we all need to remember the other guys in the band they keep Stuarts spirit alive.
I was 17 when I bought Steeltown. This song caused me to weep at that age and I knew nothing about life then. It was so sad and terrifying. A life unfulfilled due to circumstance. There is no miracle in ruin. I believe this is one of the most remarkable songs even written.

Manchester Academy,Stu looked me right in the eyes and shouted stay alive.
Believe it or not that gesture helped me do just that.Sometimes fate can be so cruel.
Watching the boys playing the anniverssary gig in Blackpool brought it all back and i have nothing but admiration for tony, bruce and mark, but without stu its heartbreasking.
