You mean the craft or zio? The craft is in 4g markets and its just a smartphone not android. The zio I think is going to regular metro network. Once the phone comes in it will be known.

Okay called again today and same manager said sometime during the first week of October the Android will be shipped to Metro stores and that the phone will run on the regular network not LTE 4G. If you want to be sure to get the Android you should call and put your name on a list like I did because theyre supposed to sell out quick.

There has been no official word on which manufacturer will be making this device for MetroPCS, but it’s likely a Samsung handset. 4G is definitely the new frontier in mobile devices and with Android 2.3 we can definitely expect some very impressive and fast phones both hardware and software wise in 2011. .. *.info ..thanx to ..DYLAN BAILEY

@ChrisMarquetteslover The craft is not a smart phone, its a message phone. You're correct about the Zio it will run on metro's regular network but it will be wifi enabled as well. The Zio was supposed to come out in mid Oct but obviously it didn't. Dealers did go to the training and presentation in Sept for the Zio. I'm not sure I want either of these phones though as they both seem like they are not worth the money they are asking for them, I guess I'll wait and see what transpires...

Yea the Zio that was supposed to come out this month got cancelled because it did not pass the lte requirements,I also heard that LG and Samsung are working on Metro droids due for release in Mid November.

@boi2wonder It was gonna be zio but not anymore. It wont be able to upgrade from 1.6 to 2.2 to now it wont come out. Maybe they are saying another android they should go to training for soon so the first android should be mid November. That is only rumored though so no upgrade now is making the phone be dropped. :(
