The chairman of one of Edinburgh Science Triangle's highest-profile companies is criticising British venture capitalists for failing to put enough money into start-up companies in the clean technology sector.
Derek Shepherd is trying to raise £10 million to take to market technology devised by NGenTec -- a spin-out from Edinburgh University.
NGenTec has five staff and expects that to grow to 16 later this year, after it moves to new premises in Queen Street, Edinburgh.
The company has designed a 'novel' generator system for wind turbines, and Mr Shepherd told Greg Russell, from Edinburgh Science Triangle, why its technology is so innovative:
