  • for beginners like myself,

    it helps if you print out the six scale shapes w/ three note per string..

    then practice the whole scale shapes too........

  • okay a little sense here your playing g mixolydian mode of the c major scale yes your playing a minor but your ending on a c note which would give the tonalitly to a c major scale and not A minor, why do teaches not explain this to there students or in lessons, really needed information if you intend to try and shred over chord progressions, and this is why there are so many so called guitarists who just sit around playing scales and dont know how to apply them into music.
