Trombone Soliloquy

MMusic Art by MMicky Shine - Yes, this colourful work is 72" long, 13" wide and almost 1' deep where the bell of the trombone is located. It has real piano felt hammers taken from a 100 year old piano and embedded at several points to give the impression of mmusical notes with ties and accents made of 3 strand wire above and below several of the note groups. Three inch nails and screws are also embedded in the left hand bottom corner to represent the form of a mmusical Sharp. Silver 3 strand wire also forms the shapes of a Natural sign, a 6/8 time signature as well as a Bass Clef with 5 short staff lines also embedded at different points in this work. The paint is all oil paint.
