Shhhhhhh, turn up the volume. Listen to three crying whistles echo in the Ga TN mountains, hear the exhaust hammering up grade, see 4501 on the lead with no light on. It's like 1950 with SRR and N&W working together. Enjoy

The paint scheme for the baggage is typical Central of Georgia Blue and Gray. It was created in the late 1940's. Enjoy and listen to the run up the hill

Yes, I used to work on the Southern and NS Georgia Division. I had the privilege to be assigned on many excursions as third generation. I took this video after I left but was on the trip. I also worked some Chatt-Atl excursions sponsored by TVRM. I grew up on steam from my father and grandfather going back to 1905 on Southern. I'm looking forward to seeing 4501 running again.
