I'm weak I tells ya-Fender road worn Tele

The new guitar I shouldn't really have bought...A Fender "Road Worn" '50s Telecaster.I've had a number of Teles down the years and have realised that I kinda do need one in the house....You know what it's like when you're fed up....Only a present will do.

Sounded good to me. The little flaws that you talked about might have been able to be fixed right there at the shop maybe.

@guitarjammer1 It was just me reacting to the 6105 frets which are extremely tall.Grew to love 'em

i love telecaster. i have one but i sold it few years ago. Now im saving to buy a new one. but i was thinking should i get standard or baja or custom. Thanks.

@Juillet187 I had to sell this one and if I were replacing it I would buy the same again or a JV '62 Custom.I don't really like the controls on the Baja and the Standard I don't really know.I loved this guitar...

@TolikRyumin ...I like these p/us and would not replace them with Fender noiseless pickups.If noise is aproblem for you then that might be the answer...or you could look at single coil sized humbuckers from Seymour Duncan or whoever. I would give the Tex Mex a chance if you can.
