  • Actually I did , but windows 7 is much much slower than xp and ubuntu in boot time. I will upload new video until I buy new camera.

  • Windows XP is better in compatibility and games, as well as tasks, applications, video and audio editing and is quite useful. The only good thing is ubuntu compiz fusion, which is of no jajajajaja XD XD XD

  • @kobra0101

applications, video and audio editing and is also quite useful in Ubuntu. all application has good quality and free. You are right with games.

  • Why does he press the enter button at 0:06 ?

  • @HatedAlways

to pass operating system list menu (called grub).

  • lol people feget that OS get faster on the latest versons. so yes win xp would be slower being Ubuntu 9.10 came out this year and xp is old.

should be compared to like windows 7/vista

  • I am thinking to compare windows 7 and ubuntu 9.10 because my new laptop came with windows 7 oem version.

but windows xp is faster than windows 7 in boot time.

  • I use Ubuntu Lucid LTS 10.04 and it takes 5sec's to boot up as be ready to use even go online. My WindowsXP Pro with a extra fast boot app still takes 35sec's to get booted. And then you usually have to wait or reset your internet connection to get online!

    Go Linux you rock!

  • @chrwl007 But you did have bloatware. Look at all the stuf on the desktop and the program images that pop up.

  • @kobra0101 Ever heard of LibreOffice, VLC and Audacity? Both those applications have Windows and Linux versions. You don't even have to search for the applications in Ubuntu - just go to the software catalogue and choose the apps you want. Ubuntu does the rest.

As for games, well... sort of, but most of the id Software titles have native Linux clients.

  • @MultiYippee Fresh install meaning just the OS and drivers, no bloatware. If he didn't have all the drivers installed, Windows XP would have launched the New Hardware Wizard after loading the desktop.

  • @iPodTouchTapp maybe

  • @VadimPVO Maybe because you have a top of the line PC, compare a top of the line Ubuntu PC and see who wins ;)

  • @MultiYippee cool story bro!

  • @VadimPVO win xp

  • My PC boot in 25 seconds with WINDOWS
