Fiona can do whatever she wants and we will still love her for being true to herself. Even if she's doing it to make people wonder, she is still being herself. The girl had such a hard life that this is nothing to her. Words can never hurt her like the way she has already been hurt. Out of sadness comes music. The best musicians have to sacrafice themselves for the world. In the end we will miss her when she's gone, so I rather say my good byes now. Love you Fiona Apple. I lived in your time.

Dancing is a response to music. Some people look good doing it, probably because they have practiced it and paid attention. Fiona's dancing is pure response to sensation. If that helps her be in the music and give such great performances and be happy doing it, I think we can overlook the fact her dancing is not as brilliant as her music. Sheez. I'm the opposite. When I go to sing karaoke, it's my dancing that gets the good response. Wish I could sing and play like her!

And secondly, I don't see her going crazy or flipping out. It's a very poor description for what she's doing there on stage...

I think shes just feeling the music, I listen to music and I get goosebumps for every note and my body moves I let the music move me and then I move myself with it.

this is NOTHING compared to what i've seen her do live in concert at SDSU a few summers ago... she is an incredible artist and her stage persona is just her, releasing everything and being completely vulnerable to her audience and powerful at the same time. When I saw her live, I could not take my eyes off of her, in fear that I would miss something beautiful and personal- God bless her for sharing all of her with her fans everytime she performs on stage!
