@TheUncleDougger Why would I waste my time getting a Ham ticket when I can anywhere on 11 Meters. You guys who are into Ham radio think you are better than everyone else, but in actual fact you are far from it. You better look in the mirror before calling me a Moron, because I am far from it. What it boils down to is communication. What's the big deal if you talk 20 Meters or 11 ? All the same to me

@jmaterne1 I also use an A-99 antenna. Been using it since 1993 and it works well. I only talk DX and over the past 35 years I have run many different antennas and the A99 really performs. I work the world on it.

I've used A99s for years. They work very well. Talked all over the planet with them. I now run an Rci-2995dx, rci-2970n2 and an FT-1000mp into one w/gpk up only 26' to the base and I smoke everyone within ten miles of me. Might be cheap junk but they do their job.

7 out of 10 the down side was the TVI and it cost over $300.00 with the GPK MANY YEARS AGO I should put it back up with all the recent DX on10 and 11 many way good luck with what ever you are using

I have had one for many years with the GPK the ant works but causes T V I so I don't use it the thing I like about it is it's quick to erect and works well on 15m as well so I would rate it at

I have been using an Antron 99 for the past 19 years now. I have had many antennas since I started back in 1977. The antenna I had before my A-99 was a Hy-Gain Super Golden Penetrator . I think it put out 5.1 DB gain. I have had several beams as well.

is very nice antenna,bat no is te best performance,i sold my a 99 and now use a new opek hcs 100,is better,more resistant a more gain... tks...nice video
