Drew's video and photos from the Utah State Optionals gymnastics meet, Salt Lake City, Utah, level 7, March 30, 2007.

Drew took first in state on beam! She was also finally able to stick her bars dismount. She had a tough time on floor after her coach changed her tumbling passes at the last minute to easier tricks than she had been practicing.

Drew was 10 years old at the time of this meet. She trained with coaches Natasha Tokareva and Yuri Tokarev at USA Gymnastics World in Bountiful, Utah, and started gymnastics at age 4.

  • oh and im am 6 points above gifted so if you think im dumb i hope you know the facts.

  • Wow, thanks for clarifying that. Mada baka na kodomo da kedo.

  • have you changed any of your routines since this meet??

  • Her floor routine has new tumbling passes, and her beam routine has some different tumbling as well. She's also working on her Tsukahara vault, and may change that later this season. I'll have Drew give a more detailed answer soon, since she knows them better than I do!

  • hello Drew, know what I think is great!'

All videos that I have seen are just girls that get evry time first, second or third place, and thast so boring to see all the time the same, but when I saw you, you had like 8 place and 9, and I think that is really good. So good job and keep it up :D

    proud of you (Y)

  • and whats that supposed to mean?!

  • how do u kno she wont have truble with dubles? the only reeson she fell was becuz she whipped it. she didnt go high.

  • dont feel bad about that fall on floor i cant even do a layout without someone standing there

  • I hope your season this year went well!! You're so powerful, especailly on floor. If you're gonna have a mistake, that's probably the best one to make. You'll have no trouble at all with double backs. Good job-you looked awesome!

  • i love her!

  • with a fall on floor an 8.00 is really good!!!

    nice job!!!!

  • Hey, I'm a level 7 gymnast too. I'm not sure if this is allowed but Drew might want to try a move such as a round off handspring, back tuck, back tuck. I have been working these into the foam pit. This is unusual to see but since she has a lot of power, may be an option.
