Or is this an anamorphic lens( stretched vertically) onto a (or edited to be) a 16:9 ratio frame?

i thought anamorphic meant the image was distorted to fit vertically. Isn't this non-anamorphic because it is an undistorted long horizontal frame?
Someone help me understand?

Well I may just shoot some more tomorrow! I still have a few rolls of this stock left. It's old, but has a sort of Kodachrome look to it.
