@laraelwing I don't think i've heard of Ice.... I've heard of something along the lines of Snow and Ice or somesuch, which i believe was a sort of fairytale retelling novel that received lots of praise...
But hurray, you're going to enter Kelly's world! I do hope you enjoy your stay, hehe
@TheMetalheadBookworm I think they're quite lovely - plus there's tons of New Yorky, theatrey stuff to appreciate too. And yes, those are established words. Absolutely.
Yay! My mom ordered Wondrous Strange for me! It's my x-mas present!! :D (along with another book: Ice, by Sarah Beth Durst -- have you read it as well?)
@laraelwing Yes, i certainly learnt my lesson from reading several faerie series/novels all back-to-back! All those similar mythologies and stock fae characters/situations/enviornments got incredibly muddled up in my poor, foolish head.
But i do recommend these books, if only to gaze at the beautiful covers from your bookshelf!
This is another faerie novel I'm wanting to read, as soon as by book pile diminishes... I also tend to see similarities between faerie books.... I think it can't be helped, right? They use some same basic elements, it's hard to come up with something completely original. I don't mind that too much, but I do try to give some time between faerie novels, so I don't confuse them a lot. :) And the covers for these books are very very beautiful.

Great reviews, Renee! :) I'm picky about fantasy/paranormal books, but I may check these out!
