Marvin Singleton may be the heart and soul of the Hopkins Basketball team. He plays with an unselfish attitude and does whatever it takes to win for his team. He undoubtedly is one of the best rebounders for his size in the country. He attacks the board relentlessly throughout the game. Singleton has a strong powerful build that will allow him to play immediately at the next level. Couple of inches taller and he would be a definite lock as an upper eschelon player in country. Singleton has a nice offensive game to go with his rebounding. He is deceptively quick off the dribble and has a decent handle for a guy playing SF. Singleton can score at will but chooses to do the dirty work needed to win championships. He will be an impact player at the next level which is definitely division one. He is a winner! The Hopkins team has won the last two class 4AAAA State Championship. My prediction is a third championship with Singleton in the middle.
