Major Nidal Malik Hasan went on a spree shooting at United States Army base of Fort Hood in Texas. He shot and killed 12 people (10 soldiers, 2 civilians) and injured 31 other people. He was finally shot by police, however his condition is currently unknown. He might be dead or alive. Hasan didn't believe in what America was doing in Iraq, and strongly opposed the war. Despite that, he was scheduled to be deployed to Iraq in Nov 28th. He didn't want to go obviously so that was probably his primary motivation behind his shooting spree.

  • He didn't want to go because he did't want to kill his Muslim brothers, however he has the guts to kill his American brothers. The U.S. military should not allow musims period in the military, because their religion teaches them not to kill their own. Also, they can use the training & knowlege against the U.S. America is letting all these riff raffs into their country. That is so stupid. Don't they know that these people's descendents will inherit the same attitudes, behavior, & thoughts?

  • If they dont like what we are fighting for than why the HELL did they enlist? I mean seriously, you already know what we are fighting for. You dont fucking realize that the day before you get deployed. You dont sign up hoping they dont deploy you. And you sure as hell, do not shoot innocent civilians and soldiers to show it. HOW DARE HIM! What are the odds to he is middle eastern all the shit that is going on right now, Might be a little misleading to the U.S. To me it looks like a terrorist act

  • @MrSonicAdvance No shit Sherlock. That still doesn't change the fact that I don't give a damn.

  • @EnigmaHood They did not simply die, they were murdered.

  • @MrSonicAdvance Why should I care about them? People die all the time, why should I suddenly give a damn about these people? I have no idea what kind of people they are, maybe they are scumbags. Maybe they are awful human beings, it's entirely possible. Until I know what kind of people they were, I really have nothing to say about them, neither good nor bad.

  • @EnigmaHood I'm disappointed you failed to criticise the murder and injury of those people, prefering focus on an anticipated backlash of offensive anti-Islamic comment and to speculate on the motives of the killer. Still, it's your dime, you can say what you want! :-)

I don't support discrimination against anyone: Be it colour, gender or sexual orientation. We are as we are.

  • @MrSonicAdvance It's a semantic issue which is utterly pointless. Perhaps I could call them Islamophobes instead, but the point is the same, they are bigots. Constantly chirping in semantics is quite frankly, asinine. Futhermore, race is a social construct anyway so who gives a damn? Race doesn't exist in the first place. Discrimination is discrimination.

  • @EnigmaHood At 0:48 you said "...a lot of dumbasses, dumbass racists are going to be saying a lot of racist things about how Muslims are evil and how they're sand-niggers and how they're scum of the earth...". You are clearly making a connection between racism and abuse of Muslims. This connection is invalid unless you regard Muslims as a race.

The reason I raised the point is because Muslims frequently try to hide from criticism by describing criticism as "racist".

  • @MrSonicAdvance You're arguing semantics which is stupid and pointless. Furthermore, no one said "critiquing Muslims" is racist. You're arguing a strawman.

  • You can't call critique of Muslims "racist" as Muslims aren't a race.

And by shouting "Allahu Akhbar!" whilst he shot his victims, HE identified it as an Islamic atrocity.

Not all Muslims want to kill non-Muslims. Many Muslims are good and decent people. But there are a very obvious minority who are not willing to live peacefully with non-Muslims.

  • @EnigmaHood - I disagree with this analysis. The attacker / Terrorist, once again, did it all in the name of "Islam" and "Allah" and "Muhammud" - Islamic Terrorism is an issue. Muslims need to deal with it. Stop making excuses for th Koran, hadiths, and education in the middle east that preeches killing and hatred of non muslims

  • I don't recommend that you cover your face when you talk to people. Eye contact is essential. Otherwise you will be considered as a poor public speaker.

My opinion. Keep doing what you're doing. But don't throw out the factor of this guy being a muslim. Also, this video went completely off track, you talked about your opinion on the war. This is about the status of a gunman who killed soldiers, who by the way, do not die for nothing. They die for you. Its not political. Have you ever served?
