Hello, Marine. I'm getting ready to leave for PI in a couple months. Just wondering how you became a part of the Lioness program. I'm really wanting to get into it. Is it something you can request or does it happen through recommendation?

@Dumasjamison I agree with you on all of that. The only response I have is that unless those same detractors have been through what we have done they can't talk. That is my opinion though. I had guys in my section that were half my age and I let them have their fun...it was very stressful and if they blew off steam by being goofy, I let them.

A lot of people forget that soldiers are people too. We like to have fun and goof around, and many of them are just kids. I was 36 when I when I ended up in Hell Man province and all the guys in my section were half my age. They bugged me about being the "old man" and was called DAD, but I never bothered them, they had fun and did their jobs!!
