Cold Medication Abuse

DUNCAN - A dangerous trend is sending teenagers in the Cowichan Valley to the emergency room and it has prompted a Duncan ER doctor to send out a plea to local pharmacies.

She has asked them to restrict the sale of certain cold medicines, because teenagers are overdosing on them trying to get high.

So far, doctors have been able to revive the teens who have been rushed to hospital, but they fear it's only a matter of time before someone is killed.
