Oh yeah, the higher centre of gravity, poor taste and so forth. Hot rods and VW's are global and will never date. I can even see overlap between lowriders & restorations, the import scene & classic sportscars (I'd love to race a 50's/60's British or German Saloon at the import drags), hot rods & kit cars, Imports & VWs, Resto-cal VW's & lowriders, hot rods and cutdowns. Even mod scooters & lowriders. Good Texas music? Look up The Dicks, The Butthole Surfers & The 13th Floor Elevators.
