@whothaplaya That's bullshit too, I have a friend in Canada that got his prostate cancer surgery in 3 weeks, it took me 4 months to get it in the USA.
"For profit" healthcare is exactly what it say's, FOR PROFIT!!! Big corporations making money on OUR misery.
No dialysis for people over 55 yrs old??? That is a complete lie.This youtube channel has only one video, I checked out her story and it could not me substantiated. I know people over 55 yrs old get dialysis in England.This is a big lie.

This is total bullshit, these people are lying...When I got prostate cancer at 47 yrs old, in our great American healthcare system, I had to wait FOUR MONTHS FOR SURGERY, for CANCER!!!
Single payer universal healthcare would be far better than the capitalist for profit system we now have...

There's no such thing as "free health Care" in any Health Care System Private or Public, Single Payer or not. Unless your Low Income. Whether your paying for your Health Care in Premiums or High Taxes your paying for it.

Ashmore was president of NAHU whose memers (insurance underwriters , brokers and agents) would be redundant in a single payer system. These professions add COSTS to health care and deliver no health care.

Why aren't we told that Ashmore was president of NAHU whose members (health insurance agents, brokers, consultants) and her company sells insurance. i.e. the bits of the "health industry" that don't deliver health care and which would be wiped out by single payer?

Sounds very sincere, but this story is fishy.
1. Visitors to the UK MUST come with travel insurance coverage. She would be in a private facility unless she was very gravely ill and close to death.
2. It is illegal to discriminate in UK on age grounds, even in medicine.
3. Is this video produced by the NAHU representing health underwriters not needed in single payer?
4. Shouldn't Elizabeth Ashmore's connections to NAHU have been revealed?
