ABOUT ME #13 - Why PC Gaming Over Console Gaming

On "About Me" #13 I wanted to tackle the question of, "Why PC Gaming Over Console Gaming?" The reason is control because at the end of the day I like to be the one that controls how my PC functions, fix it went it is not running correctly, and upgrade as technology advances. I do not want to stick with the same hardware as technology progresses because once again I'm a whore for graphics. We're at a point with technology where PC's can be built cheaply and run efficiently with less problems then their console counterparts and with the increasing popularity of Digital Distribution PC gamers are rejoicing at the rebirth of PC gaming. Don't get me wrong I love console gaming as much as the next man but the fact that the technology is O.E.M., is not upgradeable, and can not be repaired by the owner without voiding the warranty are starting to become deal breakers. These are just a few reasons as to why PC gaming is my preference over consoles but watch the video as I dive a little deeper.

Just a question if graphics do not matter then why have a PS1 or 360 to play MW3 or Crysis2? If graphics do not matter why not have those games on a PS1? Same game you just loose the graphics.

@narsplace Graphics is not the end all be all but they have a great baring in todays gaming culture probably more so then in any other time in history.

@narsplace I think consoles provide those that don't care as much about quality but the fun factor a more available option but still graphics should be being pushed no matter the system.

@Ignopius sweet im 15 too. Built maybe 3 pcs know my main one is i7 gtx 580 in it and my other little baby is an i7 8 gb asus gaming laptop
