in this glorious time of music, the allman brothers ruled. they were the sound that was hot. skynyrd and marshall tucker later. the 90's were a turning point but these guys are still touring and still making music.

if dickey would clean up just a bit and gregs medical issues are successfull theres no reason these guys couldnt easily go another 10, minimum.

For me, Dickey Betts is the sound of the band because RAmblin' man, in my mind will always define Allman brothers band. However, I love every single member of the band, past and present one, and um...Derek Trucks is an AMAZING guitar player, he got buckets of awesomeness....Warren I actually don't know enough to tell you but if he's a member of the band, he gots to be special in some way
