How my childhood came flooding back in an instant. Watching porpoise in Sandwick bay, bush walking in 'the grounds'. Fishing off the rocks at Holm. The lump in my throat and the tear in my eye are testament to this powerful video and gaelic track. Brilliant.

Went looking for the memorial recently, followed the sign pointing the way down a single track road to find a locked gate! The council should ensure this place is well marked and easily accessible to all considering it's importance.

@Alfafella With all due respect, you should have turned left at the locked gate and gone up the incline to the carpark. There is a swing-gate at the top, by a plaque that leads you down the track towards the memorial. I was down there 3 days ago and had normal access.
