More likely it's just that the Italian soldiers were either useless, or that they didn't see a good reason to be fighting in the first place (ie: appeasing Mussolini's crazy idea of a 'New Roman Empire'). I mean a rag-tag group of Greeks with barely any proper equipment won numerous victories against the Italians when they invaded.

Amedeo Guillet died the 16/06/2010. One of the best commander in WWII, he pursued his personal battle against british in Ethiopia, defating several times the soldier of her majesty by using guerrilia actions. His bravery and military skills deserved him the nickname of " devil commander" by his enemy. An adventurous life that would have made happy Hollywood screenplayers, unfortunately tkx to anglosaxon propaganda italians cannot be portraied but as cowards. RIP "comandante diavolo".
