Put a sport psychologist in your pocket! (http://www.pocketsportpsychology.com/)
This sample is the Confidence track.

I've created 11 short (1min 50sec) 'movies' (written words on a screen, together with spoken work and a tune) in different sport psychology themes. They all commence with a relaxation phase to calm the mind, ready to take in the key words and suggestions. You can purchase the full range of tracks on the Pocket Sport Psychology CD (http://www.pocketsportpsychology.com/) for only AUS$25.

The idea is that athletes upload the tracks from either the medium or mobile folder on the CD to, say, iTunes movie folder, and then drag the content to their iPod or iPhone. If one has a PSP, the tracks from the PSP folder on the CD are dragged and put into the VIDEO folder of the PSP. If you only have a hand held device without a screen, you can still see the tracks on your computer (via iTunes or Quicktime or Windows Media Player), or can load them onto a mobile phone or mp3 player or early model iPod but putting the tracks into your 'music' area of your device.

I've created 2 other CDs of psychology content too (that do not make references to sport) - Pocket Health Psychology (http://www.pockethealthpsychology.com) and Pocket General Psychology (http://www.pocketgeneralpsychology.com/). These are beaut for everyday people, from corporate executives to people recovering in hospitals, and especially for senior school students.

All CDs can be purchased at the order page on the website.

I'm a sport psychologist of over 20 years experience working with athletes in a range of sports, at all levels. These three CDs are the perfect gift for the athlete who wants a quick reminder of productive thoughts and actions that will help them cope with various sporting situations. I wish I had them when I was a competitive athlete!

They're short, they're used on your own equipment that you probably take to training and competitions, and they're discreet (no-one need know you're not just listening to music).
