@r1inoz1 no-don't sand your basecoat, go straight to clear coat.

@coryjamesc On your first sanding with 1200 or 1500 you DON"T want to sand the edge because you might burn through, when you move to 2000 and 4000 grit, then it is alright to sand lightly to blend your wetsanding all togeather. Pete

@saphcosmike You should be able to find them on the internet---DuraBlock sanding blocks. They come in a kit and run around 55.00 U.S. Dollars. Pete
