~~Demis POV~~
I saw 2 bright faces above with big smiles plastered on their faces. I grinned as Selena and Veronica sang happy birthday to me.
Selena: So how does it feel to FINALLY be 20?!!!
Sel was more excited than me! I laughed and shook my head as I got out of bed. Veronica politely handed me some clothes then left the room. I half smiled and pulled them on. It was a dark blue floral printed dress and a leather jacket that had sleeves up to my elbows.
Demi: It feels awesome.
Selena: Doesnt it! So I made plans for tonight, were all gonna go out to dinner at this sweet new Italian place down the street, then Joe said he had something planned for you so were gonna leave you alone. *wiggles her eyebrows and grins*
I looked at her surprised as I put on my black heels.
Demi: He said he had something planned?
Selena: Yeah! So you better dress up nice. *winks*
Demi: *laughs then smiles* Ok.
I sighed happily as I walked out of my room and downstairs. My mood had done a U-turn from yesterday. Maybe it was the effect of my birthday, I dont know. But I was genuinely happy. Veronica was sitting on my couch watching Spongebob when I passed by. She smiled at me when I gave her a small kiss on the cheek and headed for the kitchen.
Demi: Did I ever mention that your daughter was SO cute?
Selena: Not until now. But thanks.
Demi: She looks like you, ya know?
Selena: Yeah, I know. And Im glad!
Demi: *laughs* So what time are we going to dinner?
I was surprisingly excited for tonight.
Selena: Um, in 2 hours.
DAMN! I woke up LATE! I guess I had been a little too over worked the whole week.
Demi: 2 hours?! *runs upstairs*
Selena: *follows her* What are you doing?
Demi: Sel, it doesnt take me 10 minutes to look perfect. *starts looking through her closet frantically*
Selena just shook her head and walked out as I kept searching for the perfect outfit.

After Sel leaving coming back, me picking out the perfect outfit, doing my hair, talking on the phone with Ash while applying makeup and having a random conversation about what Joe is gonna do tonight with Sel, 2 hours had flown by. I looked at myself in the mirror as Selena hurried me up. We were supposed to be in the restaurant in 20 minutes. I was wearing a white strapless dress that was tight and silky up to the waist then soft and flowy from the waist down. I had on white heels and my hair was down and straight. My make up was simple black eye liner and a shade darker than my skin was my eye shadow color. My lips were bare and I had on a little bit of cover up.
Selena: Come on, Demi! *impatient*
Demi: Gosh, and youre not even the birthday girl. *laughs*
Selena: *pulls her out by the hand* We have reservations!
Demi: Ok, ok!
5 minutes later we drove up to the small Italian restaurant. We went inside to find that everybody was already there.
I smiled.
