Just some of the birds which visit our garden daily. Look out for Mr and Mrs Siskin on the wall.

  • Can anyone tell me a list of birds common to the West End of London? We are going to move to London, for part of the year.

  • @SeattleLA I think that the West End of London is fairly built up so, unless you have a garden, you'll probably only see pigeons. I would imagine you would find lots of birds in the London parks though. I hope you enjoy your time in London.

  • Beautiful pictures. I would had liked it better if you hadn't covered the natural sounds of the birds with music.

  • Thanks bronzesal.

It would have been nice to have covered the birds natural sounds but unfortunately the soundtrack was full of dogs barking, children shouting and traffic passing. The only decent birdsong captured was from the robin.

  • is that siskin's at the bigining?

  • Yes it is Siskins. Lovely aren't they?

  • i use to live in harringey n4 london . we had many parrots wild coming in from sion park, they really brightened the garden up, really made house guests look twice to see a parrot on the bird feeder in central london .

  • @anneandjeff Hello. Thank you. I was hoping it would be like here, near Seattle, where there are several types of song birds, often. I sure thank you for wishing us a good time in London, we have never been there.

  • @anneandjeff I share the same problem...it's sad.

  • Absolutely beautiful.! thank you so much Anne and Jeff for posting for us, adore the birds. Lovely relaxing music to the video too. Wonderful bird-song at the end by Mr Robin.
