(Size) Zero

A video I made for college about the pressure girls are under regarding the recent trend of aiming to be a size zero. The everyday girl in the video tries her best to escape the barrage of messages coming from every medium she uses. From watching television to reading magazines to using her computer, the pressure to be stick-thin follows her wherever she goes..

This is exactly the attitude that needs to be changed. No-one should feel they're inadequate just because some magazine advert says so. The media are promoting unhealthy girls in positive light, which is absurd. Encouraging high self-esteem and inner confidence should be the top priority, in my opinion.

It's not hating skinny people, it's hating the media for making all women think they have to be size 0 to be beautiful.

There isn't anything wrong with being a size 0 as long as you're healthy.

Also, I think you meant genetically built being very petite, not genetically disposed.

Coming from someone who's naturally size 0, even I agree that it's wrong how the media is like this. Infact it even backlashes on you if you are size 0 since people tend to assume I've starved myself to this weight and no one would assume that if it weren't for all of this because then no one would ever starve themselves. Because of this guys think I'm unhealthy and girls envy me(which makes them mean to me). They should show all sizes...because that's how the world is. Not everyone is the same.

what is so wrong with being a size0 especially if you are genectically disposed to being very petite! i never seen such bashing of skinny women in my life! its reverse discrimination hating skinny women just because another side of the media tells you to.
