A Deep Summer [Deep House, 2011]

About one and a half years have passed since I did my last 'full-length' mix. Now it's the right time to get it going.
Summer. Grass. Dozing. Daydreaming.
Not each track is pure Deep House, but I think the idea is clear.
I wanted to start with some calm, later almost dark tunes, before exploring a techier side of Deep House and get a bit brighter.
There were many tunes I considered to be in this mix and lots of them were quite a bit too happy, so maybe in the near future I will do another funkier mix.

There's just not enough time in the day to keep enjoying music like this. The world would be a much better, happier and smarter place if everyone stopped listening to the absolute garbage they play on the radio (read: pop/rap) and listened to this. Lyrics are for suckers. All you need to do is feel the music and move to it. It's so natural.

Awesome tunes, good variation, very nicely mixed together, and, above all.. a tracklist with quepoints!!! my hero!

I'll be searching for the tracks right away, support the artists people!

But.. to give you some criticism: what the hell happend on the last 10 seconds?? huge downer for me.. for the rest: an hour of awesomeness!

Tip of the hat. Damn fine mix. I was looking for something a little deep and thus typed "deep house" in the search bar and landed on this. I'm not sure I would really classify this as deep house, but, regardless, it's a damn good mix.

excellent deep house set! this is exactly the kind of music that i love and this truly defines the pinnacle of the electronic music genre. people still listening to david guetta, tiesto or any other of that commercial crap are clearly missing out. they still have a lot of maturing process to do in terms of their musical taste. call a me snob if you will, but people who share this passion will know exactly what I'm talking about! thank you for sharing
