Patrick Swayze ♥ - The Truth - A Barbara Walters Special ♥ - [Part 1/5]

Patrick Swayze has been aggressively fighting stage 4 pancreatic cancer for the last year but said he hasn't let the battle take over his life."One thing I'm not gonna do is chase staying alive," Swayze told Barbara Walters in his first interview since the diagnosis last year. "You spend so much time chasing staying alive, you won't live."

The 56-year-old-actor, beloved for his role in the film "Dirty Dancing," said he and wife Lisa Niemi still find time to dance together. And a few months ago, on the spur of the moment, they decided to renew their vows. The interview took place at his California ranch.

Lacteur a mentionné: «Tout sest passé comme si nous étions le prince charmant et Blanche Neige. Je suis arrivé sur un étalon blanc.» Quant à Lisa, elle a dit: «Cétait un vrai conte de fées. Le plus beau jour de ma vie.» Lacteur de 56 ans combat la maladie depuis plus dun an, à grands coups de chimiothérapie et de médicaments expérimentaux. Il compare cette expérience à un séjour en enfer, et affirme quil naurait pas survécu sans le soutien de Lisa.

«Une partie de moi se dit que je ne serais jamais passé au travers sans elle, ou alors pas de manière aussi digne», explique-t-il. Patrick a confirmé que ses heures étaient comptées, et quil ne vivrait probablement pas plus de deux ans. Il a mentionné à Barbara Walters: «Dire que je vivrai encore cinq ans serait prendre mes désirs pour des réalités. Si lon en croit les statistiques, je nen ai que pour deux ans.» Malgré ce sombre pronostic, la vedette espère toujours un revirement de la situation.

«Je garde mon cœur, mon âme et mon esprit réceptifs aux miracles. Je prie. Je continue dimaginer mon avenir, un avenir riche dune longue et saine vie. Une vie qui ne serait pas vécue dans lombre du cancer, mais dans la lumière» a-t-il dit.

I have so much love and respect for this man. His strong willed, and determined really gets to me. It lifts u up. I hope and pray that Patrick Swayze will get A LOT better in the future. Hope that he does beat this pancreatic cancer. Love u Patrick and God Bless!

Patrick you were brave. Now you know there is no death. I hope we never hear the word death again. I'll see you soon and by now you know that you live. I suppose everyone on that side is waiting for me. I think I'll need to help my best friend Gloria pass over as I come. She got very cold and maybe scared. I am always hot even when I enter transtion so I think I'll take her hand and help her go to her husband. As you know James is with me and has been here since August, 2011. Shalom

Iwrite in French. J'ai acheté son livre, et je ne sais pas si Lisa à pensé à faire un film sur la vie de Patrick Swayze? Ce serait un très bon film étant un homme très déterminé dans sa vie en plus de son épouse Lisa. Deux âmes soeurs. J'ai adoré lire le livre, ce serait bon un film. i have so much respect for Patrick, he was a great actor and really stuck it out till then end. I lost my dad to cancer so i know what he and his family went through. May God Bless him his wife Lisa and the rest of his family!!!!
