Doctor Who: Alternative 1966-69 Title Sequence

I just re-discovered the "test" footage created in 1966 to replace the original Doctor Who title sequence. Whilst some of the footage was clearly the forerunner to the Second Doctor's titles, there was also other footage that was not used.

I immediately envisioned how those unused elements could be cut to create a "new" title sequence, and thus - here now for your entertainment is that vision.

I can see why they went with the other patterns - the spinning circle is a bit boring. This hopefully however shows you all what could have been...

An interesting exercise. I've found the who title sequence hard to emulate on computer.

@android65mar Years ago I had a b&w video camera that had no record - it just plugged direct into your tv/vcr. So I tried using it to emulate the original titles - or at least, to see how they did it. There's plenty of similar attempts on YouTube... you can even do it with a modern video camera, or probably even a webcam, if you just point it at the image that it is generating... in a semi dark room... then slowly move the camera around... and flash a torch around..
