I agree with Carlos' POV. History lessons that are taught here in the Philippines is just mere memorization. Once the kid leaves the classroom they leave behind what they have "learned" and forget about it.

The philippines land area is not suited for over population.How can we know that a certain area or country is over populated.It is not only determine by population density but by the capacity of this country to sustain the needs of its people.Will P.I. has enough agricultural land to plant rice & trees & vegetable to feed the nation?Will P.I. has enough forest to make it pristine & oxyginate the environment.Do they consider sanitation,health,water,power,­job educationto a more growing population?

@redsoil5 there is nothing wrong in helping people, we are not against family planning.If the govt is serious to battle poverty it should fight the root cause.

I don't now if what kind of catechism they received during their school days, or how they parents raised them as a catholic.
