  • Most of your items are highly processed....There is so many other great and healthy options to choose.

    Raisins, Nuts, Energy bars, Dried fruits, Beef jerkys, Sunflower seeds, Pumpkin seeds and I'm sure many, many more... For the first day of riding - home prepared food.

    Sugars in general are giving you a lot of energy, but processed sugars are a big NO NO. The trick is to eat "good" sugars like natural ones in apples for example. Apple sugar - sustained energy with no crash...

  • @loh1110 When you're on an cycling expedition you can eat all kinds of food - even fatty foods. Sardines by the way are a good food as are raisins, beans and oatmeal. Thank you for your comments

  • You don't have to be a nutritionist. Just a person who has done it. Good, light, cheap, easy to travel with, and some thought about refuse. You gave plenty of options on various ends of the health spectrum. Good video!
