  • This chap was a master along the same lines as de groot.

  • Most of Weber's pre-1925 acoustical output is very boring salon dance music framed into highly repetitive and clumsy arrangements. This one is among the few exceptions.

  • @Stompy23 Some people were good at salon music. I trust your judgement. Who in your opinion, had a GOOD salon (non-ragtime) orchestra recording in Europe in the 'teens or earlier?

  • The "real thing" - How nice to hear Ragtime again and not just on the Piano.....Kind of like the old concert in the park...

  • One of the most beautiful labels I've ever seen. Many of Weber's electrics feature very good arrangements but I've never seen an acoustic in the US.
