My best time management strategy is a bit hokey but works for me. On Monday morning I think about how I want to feel at the end of the day Friday. Then I think about what I have to do throughout the week to make myself feel that way and I prioritize my task list accordingly. If I want to feel productive, I have to timebox, I need to get things organized. Looking at the to-do list with that strategy in mind helps me clearly prioritize tasks and manage my time.
