Par contre ce que j'aime dans le clip c'est le moment de la signature! Gainsbourg était peut être un chiant, shooté, avec qui les politiques, les journalistes avaient du mal à entrer en contact avec lui, mais il avait souvent des arguments implacables et provoquants en mettant le doigt sur ce qui fait mal, et tout ça à la télé comme en musique! Comme balavoine, Coluche... Peu d'artistes aujourd'hui arrivent leurs chevilles! Cette Marseillaise est un chef d'oeuvre!
Considering how much of a drunk Gainsbuourg became, it is surprising that he had such a black and white view of drug use. Maybe if his views vis a vis drugs was not so parochial-that is, if he had eschewed alcohol and tobacco, for ganja, he might not have killed himself. Still, any Libertarian take, especially in view of drug consumption, would accept his choice to drink himself to death.
I agree, but Serge was a child of the first half of XXth century, when alcohol and tobacco were fully accepted by the french society of this time, and I think that Serge saw a lot of his musicians friends having a lot of troubles with (hard)drugs in the 50's. He deals(no pun intended) with it in "Coco and co".
