Having "people in the press cover what we were saying", as opposed to what they actually MEANT. A state-controlled press is always the forerunner and ally of a totalitarian state.

there's no real difference in the communism and democracy of modern history,and even the ancient empires of old.the only difference is how you control the people.you can control them with force,you can control them with propaganda,or you can control them by making them think they are free.it's all bullshit.maybe there was a basis of good for communism,or democracy,or a republic,but they have all been perverted into just another oligarchy of the same people. you never see them fighting the wars..

I think all she's trying to say is that you don't want to rile up the people before your liberal party can inact there agenda you want to control how what and when the voters get there information, also I might add that in a communist state these problems would'nt exist.

I think the point is more; how did the Media fall for this? Why did they not question this? Why did they just fall in line??? Where was the reporting?
