after one year off self p/t i am nearly there... its been so painful!

Had this done many years ago. Woke up with some discomfort which lasted a couple of days. Immediate PT 3x per week (plus home PT) for 6 weeks and have had no problems since.

I had this done recently. I was totally sedated with Propofol & was also given a nerve block. When I woke up, I had no sense of where my arm was. It was necessary to break up the scar tissue and gain enough movement prior to rotator cuff surgery.
I went directly to physical therapy afterwards and will finally be having the surgery next week. My arm & shoulder was so painful that I could not even stand to be touched prior to this procedure. then 6 weeks in a sling and 3 more months of PT!

Thank you very much for your comment. This patient had done athroscopic capsular release before manipulation. So it's safer than blind manipulation.
